Eurochild conference

Eurochild plays a valued part in the MOCHA external advisory board. This week, Eurochild holds its bi-annual conference under the Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium in Brussels with 250 people from across Europe, including 60 children and young people on the theme of investing in children.

Children’s Rights Matter: Why Europe needs to invest in children 5-7 July, Palais des Academies, Brussels.

As a children’s rights advocacy network, Eurochild are organising this conference with their Belgian members Kind en Gezin and Office de la Naissance et de l’Enfance (ONE) to highlight why Europe needs to invest in children, how it can invest in children and build a strong commitment at local, national and regional level.

We know that investing in children is smart for all of society. Investing early in education, health care, family strengthening and community development is a necessary foundation for building resilient, prosperous and inclusive societies.

Tell Eurochild – How are you #investinginchildren?

We want our MEPs/civil society partners/academics to join in the discussions next week and engage with the conference participants through social media. Tell Eurochild how you as a ‘child rights champion/ civil society actor are investing in children?

Over the three days, they are inviting all actors involved in progressing our societies to join us in showing their commitment!

You can write and share your commitment on TwitterFacebook, Instagram or even Snapchat (youth4eurochild)!

Tell Eurochild how you are #investinginchildren and don’t forget to use the #EurochildConf so that we can retweet and share your commitment!

Here are the links to the Eurochild social media platforms if you want to find out more about the Conference – social media toolkit
