Medical Informatics Europe – Informatics for Health 2017

Professor Michael Rigby presented two papers at the Medical Informatics Europe conference in Manchester on 24th – 26th April 2017. The papers were Kühne, G and Rigby M. “Why are Children’s Interests Invisible in European National E-Health Strategies?” and Kühne, G and Rigby M “Towards Safe and Efficient Child Primary Care – Gaps in the Use of Unique Identifiers in Europe”. Also at the MIE conference, Dr Daniela Luzi, Dr Fabrizio Pecoraro and Dr Oscar Tamburis presented their work on “Appraising healthcare delivery provision: A framework to model business processes”, where they demonstrated their use of UML modelling in the MOCHA project.
