Working closely with work package 5, we will harmonise data on primary care that has been collected through available large primary care datasets in the EU, Norway and Iceland. We will collect child-health validated indicators building on the work of the previous European Commission funded RICHE project (www.childhealthresearch.eu); as well as providing analysis of outcome and quality of care measures.
We will then identify key gaps and innovative existing measures, and verify how applicable they are to children’s primary care services. Using structural equation model (SEM) / path analysis to reveal any possible causal relationships or assumptions in the harmonised outcome and quality measures data, as well as other harmonised predictors, we can develop new or improve on existing models for health systems.
